Isaac Hayes is One of the Baddest Musical Creative forces ever. either as a Songwriter or covering other artists work he always leaves a lasting impression on a song when he does it. "Shaft" is a Household work and known period,but there was so much more to Isaac Hayes and you appreciate his arrangements and Productions along with his instrumentation and directions musically which combined so much. this is a Great overview and a must have for any Isacc Hayes fan. A LOT of songs for the buck! Great CD for a romantic evening (it lasts a long time). This is by far the best single CD compilation of Isaac Hayes' Stax recordings I've seen.
